its a very good product. everything is perfect except for just a couple things
i wish they had some sort of zipper instead of drawsrings for openning the main container.
The water bottle holder goes into the backpack isntead of out so if its packed super tight, water bottles might be hard to fit.
the only container besides the big pouch and the top pouch is nothing! i wish they had like another place for me to put stuff.

I have had this pack for over a year now and I use it everyday filled with books for school. I have no rips or tears, Keeps the inside dry when using in the rain as well.

The Dakine Burnside backpack was the replacement to my favorite Dakine bag that has become somewhat worn after four years of wear and tear, and so far the Burnside has performed amicably. The laptop pocket is excellent for my 15" laptop, but I wouldn't advise trying anything larger. My only complaint is how the bag was balled up when it was shipped and was thus difficult to get it to the shape shown in the photo. But now it looks awesome!
