It's a bit bigger than i expected, it surely holds for up to 2 day trip, it has suficient room for a laptop, i hope it'll go with me to many field trips, the sholder straps are well cushioned for better comfort.

For under $30 with free shipping this Coleman Backpack is unbeatable. The laptop compartment fits a laptop much bigger than described, a 17 inch or more will fit. Zippers are smooth and do not stick but the best surprise feature is the "mesh" backing. The "mesh" fabric on the backside and on the shoulder straps keep the pack from slipping off your back especially when only using one strap. This is a great feature, no more slipping backpack!!!

35l is 8 gallons. This backpack is small, no more than 2 gallons.
If 3500 means 3,500 ml or 3,500 cc then it's a 3.5l and not 35l backpack!
The big pocket opens awkwardly.
And I could not leave seller feedback on Amazon.
