I bought this to replace my Ogio Politan that I had for 6 years and was very satisfied with. I'll primarily use this to carry books for class and my laptop back and forth to work.
I cut off most of the straps since I won't ever use this bag for hiking. The bag sits higher on my back than my previous one - I wish I could let the straps out further so it'd hang lower.
My work laptop is an HP 8560w (15.6in) laptop, and it will not fit in the laptop sleeve of this bag. It WILL fit in the rear compartment, just not the sleeve designed for the laptop. My personal laptop, an HP Envy 14 (14.5in) 1st gen barely fits in the given sleeve. The laptop fit isn't really a knock on the bag since its volume is smaller than my previous one.
All in all, a good comfortable bag so far with enough room for my needs.
