I really wanted a red backpack that also had the feature of a messanger bag. This was the only one I liked on amazon. So I just had to have it. The backpack has a compartment space for a laptop (my 15.6" laptop fits perfectly) but it mentions that a 17" laptop can fit. There are two compartments for textbooks or other bulky objects. It has several pockets for pencils and pens and a pocket with a zipper that can store small stuff. There aren't as many pockets in this backpack as some others but that can easily be solved with small pouches for other supplies. The feel of the bag is great and I really like the quality of the straps. Overall it was a great buy and definitely worth the money.
